Not only an observatory of trends, but the place where companies, institutions and European networks define standards, interoperability and new development opportunities\u00bb.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Verona confirms its role as an international hub for biomass heating: <strong>Progetto Fuoco<\/strong>, the world\u2019s leading event dedicated to technologies for heat and energy production from wood and pellet, organized by <strong>Veronafiere <\/strong>and scheduled <strong>from 25 to 28 February 2026<\/strong>, returns once again. The 2026 edition will feature a major highlight: the <strong>European Pellet Forum<\/strong>, which for the first time comes to Italy after previous editions in Austria, France and Poland, reinforcing Italy\u2019s role as a key player in the energy transition and in the European wood-energy supply chain.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Forum, organized by <strong>AIEL \u2013 Italian Agroforestry Energy Association<\/strong>, technical partner of Progetto Fuoco, in collaboration with the <strong>European Pellet Council<\/strong> and <strong>Bioenergy Europe<\/strong>, will take place on <strong>27 February 2026<\/strong>, from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. It will provide a unique opportunity for dialogue among producers, distributors, technicians, institutions and stakeholders. After the sharp price and supply fluctuations recorded in 2022\u20132023, the pellet sector is entering a new phase of industrial maturity. Technological progress is shifting the focus from domestic applications to integrated high-efficiency solutions: smart boilers, district heating networks, biomass for industrial use. In this context, Progetto Fuoco hosts the Forum, becoming the meeting point between policies, research and business in the wood-energy sector. The exhibition, returning to Verona <strong>from 25 to 28 February 2026<\/strong>, brings together hundreds of companies from around the world and offers a comprehensive overview of products ranging from next-generation stoves to designer fireplaces, from high-efficiency boilers to barbecues and wood-fired cookers, as well as components and accessories for installations. Leading Italian and international companies representing the entire biomass heating sector will attend Progetto Fuoco.
